“Fruity Loops started out as a cute little piece of software that created loops from samples.

I was quite surprised when I first saw it.

It looked like a simple grid sequencer and I didn't understand why even professional musicians liked it so much.

However, after playing with it for a while, I couldn't stop. It sounded really good, had tight timing and you could work very relaxed with this tool!

I came up with the name "Industrial Frequency" because of the many samples I use in my music that I record during my day job. The samples are recorded in an industrial environment, which is why the word "industrial" is part of my artist name.”
